Hey, it's the 25th Anniversary of being Minnesota State Curling Junior Champions!

I was just reminiscing here tonight, and realized that I am coming up on a major milestone. No lie, 25 years ago this next January I, along with 3 other good high school friends, won the coveted State Junior Curling Championship of Minnesota! Here's proof (look at 1982). What, never heard of the 2nd fastest game on ice ever? I'll pray for you.

I think Driscoll said it best, Trike. Curling is just a conspiracy put together by women to get men to sweep. It's a gateway sport.

Hmph! I guess Driscoll is no longer my homeboy anymore then. I used to like him, but now, I know he has some serious issues of understanding the difference between domestication and serious manly-warlike sports like curling. I'll pray for him too (and you too if you really do think that.)

We actually tune in to the olympics at about 3am for curling up here. Of course, it was OUR hometown boys (not to be confused with home boys) that made up the team. We'll have to set you up with a sheet of ice when you come for Bible conference in October.

Actually, curling is kind of like golf on ice. It gets better as you realize you are too old for most of the real sports!
